FUTURES NATIONAL: Players earn entry into the event thru their performance on the 2020 Storie Apparel Futures Order of Merit lists for 2020 PKBGT Regional Series from across the country. Click here to see the exempt players and priority levels.
The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour has adopted the following protocols to better serve and protect our players, families, and staff. Along with our association partners during this pandemic, we hope that you understand the significance of these measures in allowing us to operate golf tournaments and will adhere to the following protocols in order to keep our tournaments safe for players, volunteers, host club staffs and families.
We ask that all players and spectators review these amended protocols by clicking here before attending a PKBGT event. Additionally, PKBGT staff and officials will be following enhanced health screening and infrastructure cleaning protocols.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds will be available in advance of the tournament by calling the Pro Shop at 757-258-4100. Practice round fees will be $45. Practice rounds are available 2 weeks in advance of the tournament.
SPECTATOR CARTS: The course offers spectator carts at $35 on a first come, first serve basis. Spectator carts must stay on the cart paths at all times.
MEALS PROVIDED: As part of the event, a boxed lunch will be provided each day for the players at the turn.
ACCOMMODATIONS: A PKB group room block has been set-up at the Hampton Inn & Suites Richmond Road. To receive this discounted rate, participants must book their rooms by October 2, 2020. The hotel is located 4.6 miles from Ford's Colony CC. Group rates are as follows: $90.00 per night. Breakfast buffet is NOT included due to Covid-19. To-go breakfast bags will be offered in the morning as well as a coupon to a local pancake house. Please book by calling 757-229-4900 and use the Group Name "Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf ".
TRAVEL: Ford's Colony CC is located 41.8 miles from the Richmond International Airport.
PREP PREVIEW & FUTURES: All players will be ranked on the PKBGT Performance Index rankings. Results are weighted according to course rating and field strength.
PREP PREVIEW: This event is a 2x multiplier for the PKBGT Prep Preview Series Order of Merit standings
FUTURES NATIONAL: This event is a 2x multiplier for the PKBGT Futures National Series Order of Merit standings
PREP PREVIEW & FUTURES: Top finishers in each division will earn Group C status and an invitation to the PKBGT Regional Tournament of Champions.
PREP PREVIEW & FUTURES: All multi-day events will be ranked (Minimum field size: 5). Prep Preview & Futures division will be ranked separately.
PREP PREVIEW: Champion will receive 4 PBE Performance Stars. Runner-up and top-10% will receive 1 PBE Performance Star.
FUTURES: Champion will receive 2 PBE Performance Stars. Runner-up and 3rd place will receive 1 PBE Performance Star.
PREP PREVIEW: This is a CGA 5 multiplier
FUTURES NATIONAL: This is a CGA 2.5 multiplier
** CGA multiplier applies to both the Tarheel Youth Golf Association & South Carolina Junior Golf Association State Rankings
Deadline for exempt players in Groups A & B to claim their spot and register for the event.
** Spaces in the field are held for players earning automatic entry after this date
Remaining spots in the field will be filled by the committee from the Application Event Player Pool. If Automatic Earned Entry players from Group C do not accept their spots, additional players will be selected from Group D. Players will be invited within Group C and then Group D based on their PKBGT Performance Index at the time of invitation.
Deadline for Group C players to claim their spot and register for the event. Group C spots are made available if Group A & B players do not fill the field.
Deadline for Group D players to claim their spot and register for the event. Group D spots are made available if Group C players do not fill the field.
If all spots are not filled by pre-exempt players at the set deadlines, this will be the last day to register for the tournament.
This is the last day to withdraw from the event and receive a credit/refund. Players must withdraw no later than the official closing date to receive a credit/refund. All withdrawals and transfers are subject to an administrative fee.

Round 1 tee times will be emailed to all participants and their families. Please note, participants withdrawing after tee times have been released will not receive a credit. Only in extreme circumstances will a credit be granted, at the discretion of the Tour Director.
Players may check-in on Friday at the Ford's Colony Marsh Hawk Clubhouse between 2 - 6 pm.
