Each Team Roster has a Priority Waiting List should an exempt player choose not to participate. Official waiting lists will be set at the conclusion of the Storie Apparel Order of Merit Points Standings for each PKBGT Regional Series.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour has adopted the following protocols to better serve and protect our players, families, and staff. Along with our association partners during this pandemic, we hope that you understand the significance of these measures in allowing us to operate golf tournaments and will adhere to the following protocols in order to keep our tournaments safe for players, volunteers, host club staffs and families.
We ask that all players and spectators review these amended protocols by clicking here before attending a PKBGT event. Additionally, PKBGT staff and officials will be following enhanced health screening and infrastructure cleaning protocols.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: An optional practice round will be available on Friday, January 15, 2021 by calling the Pro Shop at 910-692-2114. Green fee for the practice round is $30. The official practice round will take place on Saturday, January 16, 2021 with a 12:30 PM shotgun start.
SPECTATOR CARTS: The course offers spectator carts on a first come, first serve basis for $30. Spectator carts must stay on the carts paths at all time.
MEALS PROVIDED: As part of the event, a boxed lunch will be provided for the players each day.
COMPETITION YARDAGES: Prep & Futures players will compete at ~5,600 yards and Discovery players at ~5,000 yards.
RULES SHEET & MATCH PLAY STRUCTURE: Players can download the official rules sheet for the Linville Cup by clicking here. All matches will be played in the Modified Alternate-Shot Match Play format.
ACCOMMODATIONS: A PKB group room block has been set-up at the Mid Pines Inn and Pine Needles Lodge. To receive the discounted rates, participants must book their rooms by January 9, 2021. The Mid Pines Inn is located on site of the course and the Pine Needles Lodge is located across the street. Group rates are as follows: Mid Pines Inn: $99.00 plus tax per night, Pine Needles Lodge: $119-139.00 plus tax per night. Please book by calling 910-692-2114 and use Group Name "Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf".
TRAVEL: Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club is located 69.0 miles from Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Exempt players must accept their spot in the event and register by this date. After this date, their spot will be offered to the next player on the waiting list.
Optional Practice Rounds for Participants
Official Check-In for all players will be held outside the Mid Pines Clubhouse
Welcome & Team Building for all Players and Team Coaches. This is a players only event. Lunch will be provided to players.
Parents will have an orientation meeting at the same time outside the Mid Pines Clubhouse for instructions on the weekend.
Official Practice Round for Linville Cup. Shotgun start at 12:30 PM. Parents may follow along as spectators. Players will be with teammates and coaches.
Day 1 Morning Competition Begins. Players will provided a boxed lunch after the round.
Day 1 Afternoon Competition Begins
Players & Parents are invited to attend the Linville Cup Leadership Experience & Final Match Pairings Announcement. Linville Cup Coaches will share their experiences in business and golf to all the participants. In addition, the official match play pairings for the final matches will be announced.
THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD VIRTUALLY DUE TO COVID HEALTH RESTRICTIONS. FAMILIES WILL BE PROVIDED A LINK TO VIEW THE LIVE INTERVEIWS & BE ABLE TO ASK QUESTIONS OF THE PANELISTS.
Day 2 Competition Begins with a 18-hole final match. Tee format and exact time will be weather permitting. Players will provided a boxed lunch before/after the round.
The Linville Cup will be presented to the Champions on the 18th Green
