This event uses the PKBGT Priority Based Entry system for the Bell National, Prep Preview, and Futures National Divisions.
BELL SERIES: The Top 42 players as of the Priority Based Entry Commitment Deadline listed below will be selected for the Bell National field. Immediate entry will be granted to PKBGT members inside the PKBGT Performance Index Top 50 and elite national players with Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings inside the Top 500. Remaining spaces in the field will be filled from the top players on the waitlist from the Class 1 Waitlist.
PREP PREVIEW SERIES: The Top 24 players as of the Priority Based Entry Commitment Deadline listed in the Prep Preview Waitlist in addition to the players in the Class 1 Waitlist who are not selected for the Bell National Division will be selected for the Prep Preview field. Players will be listed as "Waitlisted" until this time. Players who are not selected for the Prep Preview field who have Class 2 status will be automatically moved to consideration for the Futures National field.
FUTURES SERIES: The Top 24 players as of the Priority Based Entry Commitment Deadline listed below will be selected for the Futures National field. Players will be listed as "Waitlisted" until this time.
ELITE LEVEL UNDERAGE PLAYER EXEMPT EVENT: This event is offered by the PKBGT for limited access to elite 10 & 11 year old girl golfers who do not meet the age requirement for Classification 3 status. Elite is defined by a top 10 finisher in the U.S. Kids World Championship or other nationally recognized 12 & under championship. Players may apply for a sponsor exemption into these fields by emailing Tour Director Mike Parker. The PKBGT Tour Committee will have sole discretion on the number of under-age exemptions available and the recipients of these exemptions.
FIELD CONSTRUCTION: The Bell National division is set for 42 players, Prep Preview for 24 players and Futures National for 24. At the registration deadline, the Priority Based Entry System will be executed with the top players receiving admittance for each division. All additional players will be waitlisted should a spot become available.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds will be available in advance of the tournament by calling the Pro Shop at 919-962-2349. Practice round times must be made over the phone or in person (NO online booking). Please identify yourself as a participant of the PKB Girls Golf Tour. Practice rounds are available for $30, cart fee included. Practice round rates apply Monday, February 28 - Friday, March 11, 2022 only. Practice rounds may be played Monday - Friday anytime and Saturday - Sunday after 12:00 PM. Accompanying adults are $50 per person during the same time frame, cart fee included. Walking is allowed for practice rounds. Participants wishing to play a practice round outside of this time frame will be charged the normal student rate at the time of play.
SPECTATOR CARTS: Due to a situation out of the courses control, we WILL NOT be able to provide spectator carts for this event. An exception will be made for parents that have a handicap hang tag or proof of disability. We understand this is an inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
ACCOMMODATIONS: A PKB group room block has been set-up at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chapel Hill: 6121 Farrington Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517. To receive this discounted rate, participants must book their rooms by February 18, 2022. The hotel is located 3.1 miles from UNC Chapel Hill Finley GC. Group rates are as follows: $109.00 per night. TRAVEL: UNC Chapel Hill Finley GC is located 15.5 miles from Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
We are excited to announce Digital Scorekeeping & Live Scoring by having players download the "ShotStat Live" scoring app to their phone. All you need to do is download it and authorize it! When using the Live Scoring App during your round, you will be scoring your marker as well as keeping your own score providing a true electronic scorecard.
At the bottom of this email you will find a link to the App Instructions PDF that details how to download the app and authorize it, as well as some screen shots for scoring and some of the other features, but the quick instructions are below.
1) Search and download the “ShotStat Live” app in the App Store of your iPhone or in the Google Play Store of your Android phone.
2) Authorize the app by either entering in your cell phone number or e-mail address to receive a 1-time PIN (we recommend using your cell phone number). NOTE - the only cell phone number or email that will work will be the one on your player account in our system - so that may be the player’s number/email, or it may be the parents (depending on how it was set up). If the number or e-mail is not in our system, the app will notify you.
3) Once you download and authorize the app, tap the “Schedule” tab on the bottom navigation bar to view your upcoming events that are utilizing live scoring. If parings are set, the tournament will be highlighted in green allowing you to tap into the tournament.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour has adopted the following protocols to better serve and protect our players, families, and staff. Along with our association partners during this pandemic, we hope that you understand the significance of these measures in allowing us to operate golf tournaments and will adhere to the following protocols in order to keep our tournaments safe for players, volunteers, host club staffs and families.
We ask that all players and spectators review these amended protocols by clicking here before attending a PKBGT event. Additionally, PKBGT staff and officials will be following enhanced health screening and infrastructure cleaning protocols.
BELL, PREP PREVIEW & FUTURES: All players will be ranked on the PKBGT Performance Index rankings. Results in Bell, Prep Preview & Futures division are weighted according to course rating and field strength.
BELL NATIONAL: This event is a 2x multiplier for the PKBGT Bell National Order of Merit standings
PREP PREVIEW: This event is a 2x multiplier for the PKBGT Prep Preview Order of Merit standings
FUTURES NATIONAL: This event is a 2x multiplier for the PKBGT Futures National Order of Merit standings
BELL NATIONAL: Champion will earn Group A status and an invitation to the PKBGT National Tournament of Champions. Event runner-up will all earn Group D status.
PREP PREVIEW: Champion will earn Group A status and an invitation to the PKBGT National Tournament of Champions. Event runner-up will all earn Group E status.
FUTURES NATIONAL: Champion will earn Group A status and an invitation to the PKBGT National Tournament of Champions. Event runner-up will all earn Group E status.
BELL NATIONAL: All Players that finish the maximum amount of holes played will be ranked on the Golfweek Performance Index (Minimum field size: 12)
BELL NATIONAL: Champion will receive 8 PBE Performance Stars. Top-3 finishers will receive 4 PBE Performance Stars. Top 5 finishers will receive 1 star.
PREP PREVIEW: Champion will receive 4 PBE Performance Stars. Top 10% finishers will all earn 1 PBE Performance Star.
FUTURES NATIONAL: Champion will receive 1 PBE Performance Star.
BELL, PREP PREVIEW & FUTURES: All multi-day events will be ranked (Minimum field size: 5). Bell, Prep Preview & Futures division will be ranked separately.
BELL: This is a CGA 6 multiplier
PREP PREVIEW: This is a CGA 3 multiplier
FUTURES: This is a CGA 3 multiplier
** CGA multiplier applies to both the Tarheel Youth Golf Association & South Carolina Junior Golf Association State Rankings
Following the commitment deadline, the final positions in the Bell National, Prep Preview and Futures National fields will be completed based on the PKBGT Priority Based Entry process. Click here to learn more about how the field is set.
All remaining entered players will be kept on a waitlist for entry into the field should space become available.
Players selected for the Bell National & Prep Preview fields will be announced at this time. Players not initially selected will be placed on a waiting list should a spot become available.
The Futures National field will be announced at this time. Players not initially selected will be placed on a waiting list should a spot become available.
If spaces are not filled by the Priority Based Entry deadline, entries will become first come, first serve and this will be the last day to register for consideration for the tournament.
This is the last day to withdraw from the event and receive a credit/refund. Players must withdraw no later than the official closing date to receive a credit/refund. All withdrawals and transfers are subject to an administrative fee.

Round 1 tee times will be emailed to all participants and their families.
Please note, participants withdrawing after tee times have been released will not receive a credit. Only in extreme circumstances will a credit be granted, at the discretion of the Tour Director.
RecruitPKB College Consultant will be on site to answer questions from families on the College Recruiting Process.
Round 1 tee times begin off the 1st and 10th tees, weather permitting.

Awards for the top-4 finishers in each division will occur after play concludes.
