This event uses the PKBGT Priority Based Entry system for the Bell National, Prep Preview, and Futures National Divisions.
BELL SERIES: The Top 36 players as of the Priority Based Entry Commitment Deadline listed below will be selected for the Bell National field. Immediate entry will be granted to PKBGT members inside the PKBGT Performance Index Top 75 and elite national players with Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings inside the Top 750. Remaining spaces in the field will be filled from the top players on the waitlist from the Class 1 Waitlist.
PREP PREVIEW SERIES: The Top 24 players as of the Priority Based Entry Commitment Deadline listed in the Prep Preview Waitlist in addition to the players in the Class 1 Waitlist who are not selected for the Bell National Division will be selected for the Prep Preview field. Players will be listed as "Waitlisted" until this time. Players who are not selected for the Prep Preview field who have Class 2 status will be automatically moved to consideration for the Futures National field.
FUTURES SERIES: The Top 24 players as of the Priority Based Entry Commitment Deadline listed below will be selected for the Futures National field. Players will be listed as "Waitlisted" until this time.
ELITE LEVEL UNDERAGE PLAYER EXEMPT EVENT: This event is offered by the PKBGT for limited access to elite 10 & 11 year old girl golfers who do not meet the age requirement for Classification 3 status. Elite is defined by a top 10 finisher in the U.S. Kids World Championship or other nationally recognized 12 & under championship. Players may apply for a sponsor exemption into these fields by emailing Tour Director Mike Parker. The PKBGT Tour Committee will have sole discretion on the number of under-age exemptions available and the recipients of these exemptions.
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Practice rounds will be available Friday, February 10 at noon with a double tee start. Please call the Pro Shop at 843-399-2222 to confirm your spot. Green fee will be $30 and cart fee will be $15. Practice rounds before February 10 will be $45.
SPECTATOR CARTS: The course offers carts at $24 on a first come, first serve basis. Spectator carts must stay on the carts paths at all time.
ACCOMMODATIONS: A PKB group room block has been set-up at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites- N Myrtle Beach-Little River. To receive this discounted rate, participants must book their rooms by January 12th, 2023. The hotel is located 10.5 miles from Long Bay GC. Group rates are as follows: $119.00 plus tax per night. Please book by calling 843-281-9400 and use Group Name "Golf Group".
TRAVEL: Long Bay Golf Course is located 32.7 miles from the Myrtle Beach International Airport and 65.3 miles from Wilmington International Airport (NC).
We are excited to announce Digital Scorekeeping & Live Scoring by having players download the "ShotStat Live" scoring app to their phone. All you need to do is download it and authorize it! When using the Live Scoring App during your round, you will be scoring your marker as well as keeping your own score providing a true electronic scorecard.
At the bottom of this email you will find a link to the App Instructions PDF that details how to download the app and authorize it, as well as some screen shots for scoring and some of the other features, but the quick instructions are below.
1) Search and download the “ShotStat Live” app in the App Store of your iPhone or in the Google Play Store of your Android phone.
2) Authorize the app by either entering in your cell phone number or e-mail address to receive a 1-time PIN (we recommend using your cell phone number). NOTE - the only cell phone number or email that will work will be the one on your player account in our system - so that may be the player’s number/email, or it may be the parents (depending on how it was set up). If the number or e-mail is not in our system, the app will notify you.
3) Once you download and authorize the app, tap the “Schedule” tab on the bottom navigation bar to view your upcoming events that are utilizing live scoring. If parings are set, the tournament will be highlighted in green allowing you to tap into the tournament.

BELL NATIONAL: Champion will earn an invitation to the SPRING BELL INVITATIONAL @ Birdwood GC at Boar's Head Resort
BELL, PREP PREVIEW & FUTURES: All players will be ranked on the PKBGT Performance Index rankings. Results in Bell, Prep Preview & Futures Series are weighted according to course rating and field strength.
BELL NATIONAL: This event is a 2x multiplier for the PKBGT Bell National Order of Merit standings
PREP PREVIEW: This event is a 2x multiplier for the PKBGT Prep Preview Order of Merit standings
FUTURES NATIONAL: This event is a 2x multiplier for the PKBGT Futures National Order of Merit standings
BELL NATIONAL: Champion will earn Group A status and an invitation to the PKBGT National Tournament of Champions. Event runner-up will all earn Group D status.

BELL: Champion will receive 8 PBE Performance Stars. Top-3 finishers will receive 4 PBE Performance stars. Top-5 finishers will receive 1 PBE Performance Star.

Play is governed by the 2023 USGA Rules of Golf except as amended by the PKBGT Rules of Play and the following Local Rules shown below. Disregard local rules printed on the club scorecard.
DOUBT TO PROCEDURE: Only members of the Rules Committee are authorized to render a Rules Decision. If in doubt as to the correct procedure, and a member of the Rules Committee is not present, play a second ball under Rule 20.1c (3) and report the facts to the Committee even if the scores are the same with both balls. The player MUST, before proceeding, announce which ball she intends to use for score. Failure to do so shall result in the first ball played to be scored or possible disqualification.
NOTICE TO COMPETITORS
COURSE TEES: Players will play the Black PKBGT Bell tee markers, the PURPLE Prep tee markers or the Lilac PKBGT Futures tee markers. See PKBGT scorecard for details.
PLAY READY GOLF: Ready golf means that ALL golfers should go to their balls as soon as possible and get READY to play their shots. While waiting to hit, players should SURVEY their shot, SELECT their clubs, TAKE them from their bags, and STAND at their balls READY to step up and make the shot when it is their turn. That’s Ready Golf.
OUT OF BOUNDS: Out of bounds is marked by the inside edge of white stakes and lines. Homeowner property is considered out of bounds.
PENALTY AREAS: All penalty areas are to be played as red penalty areas.
RULES HOTLINE: Call 864-502-8537. If a group is waiting for a ruling, and the hole in front of that group is open, wave to the following group to play through.

The Bell National field will be filled first. All eligible players who are not accepted to this field will be considered for the Prep Preview field along with other Class 2 applicants.
Once the Prep Preview field is set, all remaining Class 2 & 3 players will be considered for the Futures National field.
A waiting list will be kept for each division. Players accepted in a lower division will be automatically promoted if their waiting spot comes available for a higher field.

This is the last day to withdraw from the event and receive a credit/refund. Players must withdraw no later than the official closing date to receive a credit/refund. All withdrawals and transfers are subject to an administrative fee.

Round 1 tee times will be emailed to all participants and their families.
Please note, participants withdrawing after tee times have been released will not receive a credit. Only in extreme circumstances will a credit be granted, at the discretion of the Tour Director.
